Kawasaki needs to stay on the team. His AB's are incredible to watch. He is like Ichiro lite.

 

According to Zaun, Lawrie was mad at whoever was on 3rd base for not running on his sac fly. I think it was Lind or Izturis. Zaun is upset that Lawrie was yelling at a teammmate.

He wanted his reebee. I've been waiting for Gibbons to put his foot down and I think it might've started yesterday with Arencibia not being used to ph late in the game.

 

Lawrie's behaviour there not only shows a selfish attitude, but also a lack of understanding of game situations as that run meant nothing other than making it look a little closer.

Lawrie was a hero in his own mind and thought he was getting high 5s for an RBI. on the way back to the dugout he was barking at either Lind or Rivera for Rivera not sending Lind to get thrown out at home plate when they were still down 2 runs. Lawrie is an ego that wont go away. I think he's a cancer and this was the tipping point. Gibbons clearly said ******** and it was clear he'd had enough.

Just like bautista wanting to only play rf and not do whats best for the team...Lawrie is the least selfish player on the team and only1 that plays 120% every play
