Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 At least the good bats are back for most guys
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 10 hits, only 3 runs...............brutal. RISP has been an issue.
DH12 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 If Jays had Francona they would have been better
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 You're a 10+ ERA guy? No prob... Face the Jays... They may get hits, but will never cash in them runs, so you're good bro
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Guys like EE, hit HR's but just clueless at times. Bautista deserves a better team then these clowns.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 this ump hs no clue what the strike zone is lol
Doc Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 EE keeps thinking he can defy logics trying to pull outside pitches, it doesn't work, it's common sense.
DH12 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I hated the trade, but I thought Dickey would at least pitch well enough to make his contract valuable. This guy has been a disaster and we spent our #1 and #2 prospects to get him. Worst part is that we are stuck with JPA as well. I thought it would be tough to be as good as his cy young year but not this bad
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 lol, RISP? No problem face the jays, they don't know how to cash runners in.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 When Reyes comes back, I'd like this lineup: Reyes Bautista Cabrera Encarnacion Lind/Lawrie Rasmus/Lawrie Lawrie/Rasmus JPA Kawasaki/Bonifacio/Izturis/2b of the future
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 EE keeps thinking he can defy logics trying to pull outside pitches, it doesn't work, it's common sense. This, it drives me crazy, it is so stupid as every pitcher is trying to get him out the same way he never adjusts, pure stupidity. It's why they struggle so much when runners on base, they never adjust. idiots.
Tuco Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Matt Devlin might be a better baseball broadcaster then basketball broadcaster. Unfortunately that's not saying much. He's a pretty good basketball broadcaster. Listen to him when he does a game outside of the Raptors and doesnt have to spew the homer bias.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Anthropopadopalous should bust Dickey down to AA, and recall Nolan. Then after 1 start, bust Nolan down to single A and call Dickey back up.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Matt Devlin might be a better baseball broadcaster then basketball broadcaster. Unfortunately that's not saying much. I've only heard a bit of him because I usually watch with no sound. I thought I might be able to turn on the sound, but remembered Tabler's still around. From little I heard, at least he doesn't ramble on with one stupid comment after the other like Buck does and didn't hear him confuse the players on the field, that's gotta ba a positive.
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Why Couldn't Cecil start yesterday? Why?
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Why Couldn't Cecil start yesterday? Why? because AA is our GM?
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 because AA is our GM? Dumb organization... Cecil should start Wednesday No more call ups or 90 year old Ortiz
Rajaifailedgrade1 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Missed the game today, can someone give me a quick rundown of how its been? Dickey giving up meatballs with 2 outs, Orioles destroying balls Jays can't produce with RISP against a scrub pitcher Pretty much the ordinary
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Showalter just leaving this bum in there... Doesn't matter... This team is unclutch no matter who's in there
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Rasmus just looked at his dream pitch right there.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Cabrera batting 3rd doesn't make much sense to me... It's just a thought. It just feels as if he's the guy with the more consistently good AB's and not necessarily a knock against EE as Cabrera will keep innings alive as well. Anyway...

Melky just seems like more of the "table setter" guy... I'd consider batting him 9th, not as a comment on his ability, but more on how I view lineup construction.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking... I dunno... foul?"
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Umpires are criminally bad, that was clearly fair over the bag.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
