Giants:

  • X-rays are negative on Pablo Sandoval's hand after he was hit by a pitch by Paul Malhom
  • San Francisco are riding a strong 3 game winning streak taking 3/4 from the Braves. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games and lead in the AL West
  • In this head to head matchup, the Giants have a winning record (8-7) but are .500 at the Rogers Center (3-3)

 

Jays:

  • Melky told the media that he's been playing recently with a nagging hamstring problem. He's playing through it well though
  • Brandon Morrow will miss Wednesday's start with his back issue. One of Jenkins and Ortiz will pitch, Jenkins is available in the pen this week though.
  • Jays won a series for only the 2nd time this season (@ Boston). Their first being in Kansas City back in April

We have to start getting Lind's bat in the lineup, rather than him sitting whenever someone is a little sore and dh's. At this point, put him in LF for all I care.

if Dickey wants more Run support he needs to tell AA that he doesn't like Blank and that they need to get Thole up.
