immature Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 1) Brett Lawrie: Just read his twitter feed and you will be transported to a world of snooky and J-wow. 2) Emilio Bonifacio: Ignorance is bliss is sufficient in summing up this bafoon. Brings immaturity and childishishness. The uncalled for smiling, the finger symbols and absent mindeness (3 errors one inning) prove his complete stupidity. 3)Colby Rasmus: Solemn , disengaged and looks completely lost at most times. Difficult to think how anyone can form a bond with this seemingly depressed emo. Seems he hasn't overcome that standard mind-set that inflicts most adolescents. 4)John Gibbons- Masks his stupidity in a sort of apathetic, relaxing demeanor. This optimistic everything is going to be alright attitude will wear thin once this team continues to lose. It seems once the team continues to lose the anger he constantly suppresses will come out (i.e Hillenbrand) 5)Bautista- The so called leader. I do admit he displays intelligence and thoughtfulness on occasion but this overcompensated by his egoism and his disillusion narcissism. Probably the worst qualities for a influential 'leader'. All great teams display camaraderie, intelligence, maturity, unity, loyalty and character. This team is bereft of all. A.A has shown some great insight in baseball matters (wells deal, drafting), unfortunately he seems to have none in psychology.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Yep, Brett Lawrie's tweet are the reason we have a bottom-five run differential. Sigh..
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Maybe he's been high-fiving the pitchers too hard, or punched Dickey in the neck in a Red Bull-induced rage? Or maybe he's hitting .179/.247/.321 with a 27% K rate

wilko Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 bump Just threw up in my mouth remembering Bonifacio. Thanks.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Just threw up in my mouth remembering Bonifacio. Thanks. Reading the name Bonafacio made me think of Balbino Fuenmayor. That's someone else I'd rather forget.
