4 man rotation?

Gibbons says #Bluejays will drop to a 4-man rotation until May 21, at this point, doesn't believe JJ will be ready by then. #Jays

 

Not sure if this was discussed in another thread, but this is gonna be ugly for at least 2 out of every 4 days. JJ not gonna be ready by the 21st? Awesome..

They have days off on Monday and Thursday next week (before and after SF series) but have 5 straight games from the 17th-21st, so one pitcher (Buehrle scheduled) will pitch on short rest

Buerhle has been terrible, RA has an era over 5, morrow has been the bets but even he's been inconsistent, and ortiz lol. Doesn't instill much confidence.

Yeah that would be ideal, but it doesnt look like it will line up that way. Ortiz will probably pitch once give up a 5 spot in the first couple innings then be DFA'd, so im sure we'll find out the new member of the rotation on Saturday

I can't see Ortiz staying in the rotation. It's mind blowing that he's actually back with the team in any form.

It actually wont matter, no pitcher will pitch on short rest. They have a 4 man UNTIL the 21st, which would be the first day they play 5 games in a row, so on May 21st theyll have a 5th starter

AA will get someone else in there, Ortiz will s*** the bed tomorrow and that will be that.

 

We need to win this game and then take 2/3 against Boston. That will really get this team headed in the right direction.
