I'm not going to delete it. But other than that, yeah some of these comments are borderline trolling, and if it keeps up, and that's

the sole purpose of signing up here, than what's the point of being here.

 

I appreciate you wanting to let everyone express their opinions, and you're right about that. I guess it's not so much the original post that's a problem but more that these types of threads quickly become breeding grounds for the kinds of posters that ruined the old place. People speaking in absolutes and insulting anyone who challenges them is just annoying and destroys any chance at a healthy baseball discussion.

We just have to think back to the BJ board 3 or 4 years ago. When there were less troll threads. You used to be able to beat them by making the topic legitimately about baseball. Throw stats at them, that usually conifuses them. Add in that if they don't talk about baseball, they can get banned. Report away when you think someone is a troll but try not to give them what they want which is attention.

 

The mods are running IP reports every single day so we know who the duplicate accounts are and have banned a few accounts already and issued several warnings. No board will be perfect but this one is as much better and is active.

This is trolling.... I said its not impossible thats all I said, this insult should be a ban IMO. All I said was saying its over now is not correct it has happened before, I did say however that yes it is unlikely, did you miss that on purpose or just want to troll. I've played and watched baseball for over 30 years.... I've seen first hand teams go on worst streaks and make the playoffs.
