Well he didn't do anything yesterday to write himself off of the potential spot start list. Gotta think it's a possibility at least.

I'd like to see Claudio Vargas get a shot. Germano, Bush and Ortiz have already had their opportunity to contribute for the Jays and haven't done well (that puts it mildly). Vargas is slated to start for Buffalo today, however.

 

And in my opinion, Deck McGuire is going to be to be a bust.
