Plus we would have to make it worth <1 point and I don't want to get into decimals, unless we had it but with a -1 point attached if they are wrong. But with the - i don't think many people would select it.

As for the playoffs, Id recommend that it be a weighted playoff system, so the favourites of each match up had an advantage

Sounds good. We might want to add more teams. Unless we do what abomination suggested. Pre and After allstar rounds. Top 6 from each round move on. If the same person is top 6 in the 2nd half they move up if they did better or the next place person in the first half takes their spot.?

I've decided on what we can do for the playoffs. The top 10 overall members will make the FHRC playoffs that begin September 1st. There will be 4 rounds, and the two members with the most points by September 1st get a bye to the semi finals.

 

The playoff tree would look like this, each round lasts one week (members with the most points move on)

 

Round 1

1a. 3rd place vs 10th place

1b.4th place vs 9th place

1c. 5th place vs 8th place

1d. 6th place vs 7th place

 

Round 2

2a. Winner of 1a vs winner of 1d

2b. winner of 1b vs winner of 1c

 

Round 3

3a. 2nd place bye vs winner of 2a

3b. 1st place bye vs winner of 2b

 

Round 4.

4a. Winner of 3a vs winner of 3b

 

* Ties will go to the person that had the most points during the season.

 

 

We will then have another FHRC competition for the mlb postseason.

That is what I was thinking.

 

We can vote later if we want a playoff for 11-20 but that kind of takes away from the main playoffs. Unless expand the main bracket to 20 teams, but that seems like a lot.

Okay revised to let more people make the playoffs. Top 18 members make it. Playoffs start August 26th, each round lasts 1 week. 1st and 2nd place get buys to the semis. The member with the most points per match moves on. Ties are decided by the member with more points in the season standings. Picks must be submitted to me by pm to prevent people from copying.
