You could have just traded him to me after all the lovely things I've done for you, peckerwood.

Like what? Trouncing and outclassing me repeatedly in the playoffs?

Who wants Jeff Samardzija? He's not great or even good. He'll throw some good games, but blow you up othertimes. He's affordable, and better than what's on the wire. Send offers. Pick upgrades and prospects preferred.

That's a high quality sales pitch if I've ever heard one

At least he's been better than last year.

If he chooses to why not right?

I mean plenty of teams have a lot less than his 3/6 playoff appearances.

Oh you missed that.

I made a comment in an earlier thread that when Spank has a s***** team, he always says he's rebuilding...even though he isn't.

Wasn't that your excuse for the first 5 years of this league's existence?

For real tho, is Cespedes ever going to play baseball again?

YOENIS CESPEDES

OF, NEW YORK METS

Yoenis Cespedes suffered multiple fractures in his right ankle in an accident on his ranch in Port St. Lucie, Florida on Saturday night.

Cespedes had a "violent fall" in a hole and is now in New York being examined by doctors. Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen told reporters Monday that it's unclear at this point how this will affect the veteran outfielder's status for 2019 and beyond. He is already rehabbing from dual heel surgeries and has been on the injured list all season but was maybe going to be an option in the second half. More information should be made available later this week.

How’s our Jesse Winker bet coming along?

Going great, he got his power back so I expect he'll be putting up big numbers this year.

The Mets might have a case to have his contract voided. Which would include his agent giving up his percentage...his agent Brodie Van Wagenen.
