Meh. He’s probably going to have to be rostered through next year’s cut before reaching the majors. Possibly also the cut after that.

 

Yeah he barely reached AA as is (props to P2F for noticing). It's a great find but having a good prospect in the MLB before they have to be is really annoying come cuts time.

 

Mechanics also don't look clean... I bet that elbow pops soon.

Looks like he had a few blowup games but only gave up runs in 11 of his 75 appearances. 64 scoreless appearances, that's going to lead to a lot of holds. Being 1.65/9 runs below his xFIP will likely mean less scoreless appearances though.

a lot shorter since you let your window expire. You now get 20 minutes for future picks. A lot has happened in the year you were gone, the DDL believes in being a leader in pace of play. We put up our shot clocks for a reason.

He's done a really nice job carving out a career as a reliever since 2012.

 

Remember his 2004 season as a starter. Seems like such a distance memory. He fell off a cliff fast after that.
