And in regards to absenteeism/activity. I set my lineups daily, am far from the least active manager in making adds or drops and have made as much or more trades than half the league.

 

As for a screen shot of the trade conversation. Screen shot it up Silvio, where I initially asked for a 1st. (which in BTS eyes is worth Givens, so a 50+FV prospect) I like Steckenrider more than Givens long term for future Save opportunities so really it's just a tenure thing.

I should probably point out that a) Givens is about 5 months older than Steckenrider without about 10 times the track record of success, and nobody has met my asking price. So assuming Steckenrider has 1st round value when he was on the waiver wire a week ago is still highly dubious despite the mental gymnastics.

I would have cut him awhile ago if he hadn't been DLed. Zero chance he's keepable at this point, so I'm sure silvergun will pick him up in the 5th round of the waiver draft next season and he'll immediately morph into DeGrom 2.0.

What was our trade? Kazmir + Broxton for Gsellman + Gio I think? Gsellman and Kazmir are complete zeros, so you'll end the year ahead in this one because Gio has been better than Broxton. I'll almost certainly hold on Broxton though. He's going to go 20-25 in a very disappointing year and I can't quit on those tools.

I feel like we should deal with one league at a time. You have a greater impact here where you're one out of twenty than over there where you're 1/30. I could be argued that you essentially run your team like a farm team but to do here has been a source of controversy and just hasn't really been a source of controversy there so I see no need to lump the two together.

 

Here's the thing. I don't think it's the least bit productive to go through and argue ever single move you've ever done in DDL. That's just going to create argument and acrymony for nothing. The league is still overwhelmingly composed of original members. Everyone is aware what your body of work is and the two owners who aren't can just look it up in the league history. The question to be put to the league members is very simple. Based on your body of work, do they still want you in the league? There's no need to make it any more personal than that. There's no need to browbeat anyone or accuse anyone of bad faith. Let's stop letting this fester and just deal with it in a simple and inpersonal way. If the league feels that it's in the greater interest to have you out than you're out. No hard feelings, no accusations just a handshake and good luck with your other fantasy endeavors and we're done. And if the league wants you in, those who complain about you will have to accept that there's not enough support for kicking you out and that it's pointless to keep bringing it up.
