Which one of you contenders wants to get a head start on the trade deadline and bolster your championship team?

Brett Gardner: .262/.352/.457/19/69/49/15

Matt Bowman: 3.68 ERA/.294 OBPA/19 HLD

Francisco Liriano: Could be good in a relief role, and is SP-eligible. This could prove very valuable in the post-season.

I could also move Kirby Yates, Andrew Chafin, Brandon Maurer, David Hernandez, Tommy Joseph, Mitch Moreland, Brent Suter, and breakout star Andrelton Simmons.

Ideally, I move a couple of guys for a roster upgrade, but I'll listen to anything.

Should probably mention that I'll be unavailable Saturday and Sunday, so any trades with me will need to be completed by Friday night.

Hoooo boy, LOB is in trouble after losing Andrew Miller, Brandon Belt, and Felix to the DL in the same week. Now z3r0s is only 5 GB and has a very nice schedule to finish the season while I have to face off against jaysblue this week at my most vulnerable.

Save me, my chubby Dominican prodigy!

I'm still without Strasburg and Ray, so you should be fine.

Anyone want Cody Reed for basically anything? Don't know what happened to his control this year, but I'm done waiting. There is some light at the end of the tunnel if he can get back in the zone.

Same deal with Junior Guerra. Available for basically anything.

Looks like I'll just have to keep Urias. Nobody wants to pay s*** for him (I can understand why). boooooooooo.

I was really counting on getting something out of Sanchez, Urias, Richards this year. Double blows with Quintana being very 'meh' all year. No wonder my pitching blows!

Wow, Contreras has a 64 wC+ and projects as a league average bat. I still think you came out ahead there.

I'd probably still reverse that trade, given the opportunity. It would take a prospect of similar caliber to pry Miller away from me. Luckily for all of you, silvergun no longer has such prospects.

I call ******** on this one. z3r0s should call your bluff for my own self interest.

Catchers are s***** assets in general. There is no way you'd trade one of the best relievers in the game for a struggling young catcher.

Hey Boxy, just a reminder that sometimes prospects don't bust. And also a reminder that sometimes when I pump up a prospect, it's because he's actually a stud. K? I'd also like to point out that NJH and BTS liked the quoted Boxy post, so please feel free to share in his shame. Willson Contreras is the #1 catcher in our format and is outproducing Buster Posey. He's a far better dynasty asset than Andrew Miller at this point.

Of course I will. About time that I make a drunk trade or 2

Great idea. Send me a PM - I'll look out for you.

Yesterday's FG article has alerted me to the fact that Carlos Gonzalez is running a wRC+ of 48 this year, and reminded me how truly appalled I am that SG got Mitch Keller for a guy who should have been dropped and should still be sitting on the waiver wire.

Yeah I really should have taken a closer look at him.

Lots of former stalwarts collapsing this year, Miggy is slashing .251/.337/.408. That's a similar ISO to Kevin Pillar.

And here I am still patiently and eagerly waiting for Nelson Cruz to implode.

There is always a chance that CarGo and Miggy bounce back next season. It's not completely out of the question. Both players were Top 50 assets coming into this fantasy season. If I owned CarGo in this league, I probably would just sit pat and hope he rebounds next season rather than drop him for nothing.

V-Mart has dropped off dramatically as well.

Include Ben Zobrist, Carlos Beltran, Adrian Gonzalez (has been in gradual decline for last several years), and Jose Bautista.

Ugh... I'm a part of 4 of 5 of those guys somewhere or other. The Booze Hounds made a big mistake in buying Bats after that 6 week hot run.

Cargo will be out of Colorado next year, so then he'll really be f***ed. I don't see a bounceback in the cards.

Poor FTD, that trade looks like the torpedo that may have finally sunk the good ship Twist and Trout.

I have no ill will to FTD, but I really do shudder to think how bad my team would be right now if I hadn't pulled the trigger on that.

Anomalies happen. I wouldn't completely write him off just yet. He was pretty awful in 2014 and came back strong in 2015 & 2016. Even if he'll be out of Colorado next season (which I'll admit won't help), he still could benefit playing at a hitters friendly ballpark like the Rogers Centre, Yankee Stadium, Camden Yards, etc. All I was really saying is that I don't understand why a manager would drop him especially in a dynasty league.

How many collapses on this scale have resulted in a return to relevancy? Freeing up a keeper spot is all the reason you need to cut bait on a 32-year old running a 50 wRC+ and about to leave Coors (probably).
