It follows from that and think it's even stated explicitly in another rule.

Your honour, we have an existing statute declaring that prospects must have played in AA before being added to an MLB roster or selected in the waiver draft. Your aforementioned stipulation should not be a matter of interpretation in light of existing precedents.

I rest my case.

Wouldn't that mean that any international guy would be ineligible? Tanaka? Darvish? Neither of them played in AA? Gurriel? Played in the same Cuban league.

*edit* big bro Gurriel

Everyone please confirm all your picks are reflected on the 'Waiver Drafts' tab. There was one trade that hadn't been reflected (Spanky and jays_fever, Sandy Leon trade). There was also one other issue that had KK picking 16 instead of Spanky, although I don't know where that error originated. I corrected those errors.

Please check now or forever hold your peace!

The rule is that if they are 23 or older when they sign, they are waiver draft eligible (since they are not subject to international spending restrictions). I just went over this with njh as I was wondering the same. That's why Loudres in particular is elgibile.

Norge Ruiz for example signed at 22, so he isn't eligible.

Thanks for ensuring his permanent mediocrity, I was looking forward to enjoying him as a Jay. Pls trade him soon.

Anyone want Waiver #8? I'd trade him for a decent MiLB pick or pick upgrade and a lower Waiver pick (to balance assets during draft)

Also, just a reminder to those who haven't made a trade block yet, its a great way to let prospective trade partners know your needs and who you are looking to move. Make a google doc and send the link to an admin!!

Does Triggs have a 90mph fastball and a mediocre changeup? Not sure why BTS is so pist

90mph fastball with good changeup, slider and cutter. And a deceptive delivery. He might be the only starter I actually have on my board.
