Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Lol I just noticed this in the docs "The commissioners may place players subject to The Jake Lamb Rule on waivers" Why is it called the Jake Lamb rule?
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Lol I just noticed this in the docs "The commissioners may place players subject to The Jake Lamb Rule on waivers" Why is it called the Jake Lamb rule? An informative BBDL precedent: http://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/5216-Breaking-Blue-Dynasty-League?p=865996&viewfull=1#post865996 Ace didn't notice Lamb passed the promotion threshold. Boxy stole him with the second last pick of the waiver draft. Ace would quit the league a month later, and ultimately disappear from the board. He also made no fewer than five illegal adds in the LoD. Jake Lamb, of course, would OPS .841 in 2016 with 29 dongs, making him a top 100 player in Yahoo. In true Boxcar fashion though, he was flipped in April of 2016 for... ummm.... John Lamb.
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Speaking of this, I haven't looked closely at our prospect lists. Are Buxton or Domingo over? Anyone else?
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I definitely made sure Domingo was under heh. Dahl, Santana, Torres.. it ain't even fair. I assumed you had a barren farm with all that MLB talent, but here you are with some young studs ready to go.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I was planning to use Sean Rodriguez in a super-utility but I guess that's out of the question now with the injury. BTS Community Moderator Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Surprised that you're sticking with Street.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I don't have you owning Swihart. I have him as a BALCO asset in the Beltre - Darvish swap. Did I get that wrong?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I don't have you owning Swihart. I have him as a BALCO asset in the Beltre - Darvish swap. Did I get that wrong? Probably not. More likely that I forgot he was in the deal. I'll add another keeper in that case.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Surprised that you're sticking with Street. Still nominally a closer. Possibly not for long but I'll ride it out.
