I just don't understand how after the CS incident, you would come in and start the same s*** again? IIRC, our league drafts before any of the others so there's no reason to not just wait until the actual draft to find out who we're taking (not that other leagues don't correct our mistakes anyways).

 

Plus he came in and dropped the initials, many were figured out but not all. He then came back and said you didnt get them all though, then North found Keller. Pretty annoying and s***** imo.

I understand name dropping is frowned upon, but it's fun to talk about prospects and not being able to talk about them on a public message board is dumn. No one that I mentioned (didn't even say names) would be missed if someone just sorted the minor league leaderboards like everyone does before the draft anyways.

It was an accident after which you were told specifically to quit it with the name dropping which you didn't. If you want to talk minor leagues, prospects, whatever, there are other threads for that.

There is a big bloc of owners in this league who really hate naming unowned players so I suppose it's best to leave prospect talk to other threads. I agree that it's weird since everyone will end up doing the same minor league sorts next month anyway but it is what it is.

 

I found the name because I figured people would just keep guessing until Cyborg confirmed. Didn't mean to contribute to an incident.

 

Cyborg has a trusted opinion (for some reason) so there could be guys that people give a glance at but go "meh" and move on. Him name dropping might push some people's opinions.

If he's curious to know who's going at the top of the draft, all he had to do was PM me like a couple of people did. I am a bit guarded since Cyborg can be a major snake but I'd probably have shared with him. If you sort the leaderboard, there are lots of guys. Him honing in on a few could make a difference, I can't believe you are unable to see that.

It's not like he's scouting these players himself or doing much more than sorting the same leaderboards. I think the un-informed owners you're wary of stealing your sleepers understand that. I can certainly see your concerns and am sympathetic to them, Boxcar. I'm just not personally offended and without that am not going to embrace victimhood.

 

He didn't name anyone I covet and I don't particularly care if he did as I have loads of contingencies in place. I just don't like how obnoxious it is to do that. I don't really personally understand how Cyborg could have not realized he was being a ******** but I guess I just don't think like him.

 

It's all fine, I guess, whatever. Personally, I'd love to talk about prospects and I'm super excited for the draft but those talks can wait.

There is a brand new middle of the pack in the DDL now (including the bottom couple play-off spots). I kind of wish I could have back my week against BTS in which I missed some starts, and may have thrown away a couple stat wins.
