Laika Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2016 Author Posted May 8, 2016 Michael Saunders is probably as good as Eric Hosmer so I naturally love this deal for Min. Hurl, who do you want with that #1 waiver? Gourriel? Pretty sure they just mean first round waiver, not #1
TRM Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Pretty sure they just mean first round waiver, not #1 You're right. Those numbers indicate rounds. Sorry, I should have been more explicit. I thought it went without saying because next year's waiver draft has not had it's order determined, but alas.

TRM Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Dinger is simple, need to really spell things out. On the plus side, it means this simple lad is gonna love this trade even more for me when he finds out how dumnnn he is.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Min didn't overpay to the extent I wanted, poop. Coming from you, this is very positive feedback. Also, I just lol'd when I realized what your avatar is, I actually never noticed/registered what that photo was.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Robles is the next Buxton fo sho don't you dare

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Boxy, do you think it's fair to say Willson Contreras is the next Joe Mauer? I cream my pants stat-scouting his line. Get bent, dick wipe
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Imma go ahead and process this on the Google doc side. Hurl basically said he was doing so, and it won't be hard to reverse if this is some epic ruse.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Just a quick reminder to all peeps with spreadsheet editing powers. The preferred method of moving an asset is to copy that cell and paste in the new column, then delete the original asset. Cutting and pasting will result in some issues with formatting being erased. I also added a similar error check to what we had for waiver/draft picks for prospect names that might be doubled up. Same deal, if the cell in the upper left corner is red, something is doubled up.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Get bent, dick wipe Floor: Grandal Realistic: Mauer Ceiling: Posey About right?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Min didn't overpay to the extent I wanted, poop. Yeah it was never going to be straight up but there were a lot of back and forth pieces. Min changes his mind a lot. Michael Saunders is probably as good as Eric Hosmer so I naturally love this deal for Min. Hurl, who do you want with that #1 waiver? Gourriel? Nope the very slight upgrade from my #2 to his #1 was a equalizer when he wouldn't move from Saunders. I have to say that you should look at Saunders without the Blue (Jays) coloured googles. He's striking out at a 30% rate and being carried by his .400 BABIP. Guy is hitting 60 points over his career average. I got a nice run out of him...and maybe I should have shopped him as a 150 wRC guy but I didn't think he had enough value. He's also 3 years older than Hos. Hos is running a high BABIP too but he's doing it while running a 13% LD rate. Makes me think he can high BABIP again.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Floor: Grandal Realistic: Mauer Ceiling: Posey About right? Maybe 2015 Mauer including position
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Ugh, not double checking Hill was still in the lineup after the rainout indeed comes back to burn me. I had you, Doctor! Still, with the way yesterday played out I'm not unhappy to escape with a tie tbh. YOU had ME? I had you 10-4 as recently as this afternoon. I'm not super thrilled with a draw here but I'll take it.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 You guys, don't worry, silvergun gets Aroldis Chapman back tomorrow so maybe his team will stop sucking so much.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 Ugh. Cheesesteak division. Hey, at least I made a positive contribution last week.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 If I lose to Boxy this week I'm going to start my yearly firesale I think.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2016 Posted May 9, 2016 If I lose to Boxy this week I'm going to start my yearly firesale I think. I'm not THAT bad. Only team with a SLG over .500! My bros just don't get enough PT so I need some Bregmans, Beninininininininintendis, Reeds to come up and wreck s*** already. Also, I'm gonna have issues when Greg Bird comes back since it seems like Park is actually good at baseball.

More that if I lose yet another week it would put me down in 18th or 19th and I feel like I should then just give up and call it a season.
