The annoying thing here is that I told Boxy to pick up Pollock out of pity, because my roster at that point was full and I felt so bad for his team. And now my likely R1 matchup has Pollock, who ballooned into what he is now.

 

I almost told KK to think about adding a couple of guys last week, for the sake of league parity, but then I remembered Pollock. Nevar again.

It's been my experience that usually when I think I'm buying low I'm just buying a s***** player.

Everybody in the playoffs has a great roster, and is a gentleman (except jaysblue). The eight of us should all go for beers, and invite none of the others!

I wouldn't hate it if North and featherd had to wait a little while longer for another title either, to be honest.

I mean, I don't want either to become the first two-time champ, but they were both pretty humble champions so it could be worse.

 

I could be wrong about this, but I believe this is the only league I'm in with NJH where neither of us has ever won.

Yeah got bumped out of the rotation for Matt Moore. Probably just limiting innings or something, cause obviously Matt Moore is terrible.

 

I dunno, Moore has torn through AAA and Karns has thrown fewer innings this year than last.

Man, they have such a sick rotation. They'll probably trade Karns this offseason for an MLB ready arm and some low-A gem that nobody is in on yet.

Things should be better with Cobb and Smyly back next year. Those two with Odorizzi and Archer should be legit, and Moore, Karns, and Guerrieri can fight for the 5th spot.

Clearly Moore is getting this Sept showcase so that they can try to trade him in the offseason. IMO
