That count presumes saves and holds are equal, but generally closers are providing better Ks and ratios as well.

Some holds guys don't take up relief spots though. There are no SP-eligible closers right now.

always find the standing for bullpen counting stats interesting. In the first year of the pool there were only a few teams that over .500 in both saves and holds and most of those teams were playoff teams. Current games over .500 in what should be the easiest stats to come by. By current standings.

1. Slayers +7

2. Blancos Even (11-1 in saves, 1-11 in holds)

3. Stanton +6

4. Stallions +11

5. Brewed -1

6. Bryce is Right -11 (almost the entire difference between him and Dinger)

7. Horny +5

8. Burritos +10

9. Cardinals +1

10. Balco +3

11. B.Inge -7

12. Puigs - 3

13. Trout +7

14. Gryf -6

15. Taijuan -6

16. Peach Even

17. Tamer -2

18. Clever Name +1

19. Bi Week -2

20. Kats -12

Essentially the difference between NJH being a playoff team and not is that he picks up saves and holds.

On that note...anyone have a closer for sale? lol

My biggest strength in our 20 team leagues has always been filling out my roster with quality depth. In this league I've always had an easy time finding productive pitchers but a tough time getting great hitters, for whatever reason. Arrieta, Buuchholz and Hammel were all off the pile, but I had to trade Urias, Scherzer, and Stroman for my core bats.

I don't post this s*** for nothing. I have two offers from playoff teams for Allen. The current price is 1st rounder + prospect. Let the bidding war begin.

I'm sure you'll end up with my entire offense soon enough.

Fernandez just JACKED a home run! Welcome back, boo!

He's not with you anymore. You're embarrassing yourself by clinging to what you once had.

Hurl, what's my split? Am I above 500 in Holds and Wins? I can't check at work.

10-2 in saves (second best behind Dinger), 4-6-2 in holds and 6-6 in wins.

I still own him in FC, and I'm president of his fan club so GFY.

I forgot that I have a 2nd share in him with The League.

I'm guessing this is the last season for The League, so enjoy that while it lasts.

A loss to hurl this week could spark a massive rebuild. If losing to hurl isn't a wake up call, I don't know what is.

Losing to me, KK or Gibbers is probably a bigger wake up call.

Didn't you lose to me as well?

No that was North...and I feel that didn't garner nearly enough attention.

That's right take shots at the guy in last...oh wait that was 2 months ago. That's right take shots at the guy ahead of you in the standings.

No, but I only won 8-4 which might as well be a loss.

playoffs are a lock for you

More worried about his injury lingering for rest of the year. Grade 3 strain is ugly

Luckily for me, Cano and Ortiz have woken up lately, and Ellsbury is back soon. My offense is still pretty dece and Valencia is a fine placeholder.
