TRM Verified Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I just might be an idiot. Still have the top-ranked pitching and 17th offense. Bolded part was my point. Unbolded part is rather remarkable.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Harvey - Braun Cobb - Choo Holland - Andrus Salazar - Belt Felix + Syndergaard - Abreu Ross - Kendrick I just might be an idiot. Still have the top-ranked pitching and 17th offense. yeouch

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 the market in this league is pretty fun. A season or two back you couldn't trade a good arm for pennies on the dollar (as far as I remember), and now everyone seems to be sort on arms. Interesting to say the least. I like how the league follows trends too, and how people look at past deals as precedent for future ones. I've adjusted my pitching approach over the years and feel good about what I'm currently doing.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I sometimes weep about my ex-True Card rotation: Felix Harvey Cobb Ross Wainwright Salazar Iwakuma Holland Archer Alvarez Syndergaard Glasnow I currently have 4 of these things.

BTS Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Hanley hurts himself crashing into the monster... damn That's unfortunate. I'm sorry to hear that, and wish him a speedy recovery

Laika Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2015 Author Posted May 4, 2015 Hanley hurts himself crashing into the monster... damn Certainly looked like a separated shoulder or something. Was in a lot of pain.

NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Hard to say Buchholz's peripherals are fantastic and much better than Doubront's ever were. And he does not have history of under-performing his peripherals. I'd hold on tight.

BTS Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I carried Whitley for a large chunk of last season. Everyone says he sucks but the PD stats are very promising. 3.74 FRIAS. I rostered him last year for awhile and picked him up as soon as I could this year. He intrigues me.

BTS Community Moderator Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 BTS the pitcher whisperer. I can't wait for him to break out this year, and get traded for a hitter who promptly starts hitting 20% below projections.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 BTS the pitcher whisperer. Don't worry, he'll trade him for a bat right before said bat declines. Edit: LOL BTS beat me to it.
