Can't wait for Dinger to package Lorenzen with, like, Desmond Jennings for a top 30 player.

The offers are already out. To the recipients: if you're interested, better accept before your competitors do!

I'm not generally one to trash other peoples players, so I'll leave it at this:

Generally, I like my pitching prospects to K/9 more than 7 and K/BB higher than 2 in AA at 22 years old.

Maybe that's just a personal preference or something, I dunno.

I'm no snake oil salesman coughnorth. I've sold good young pitchers before; Gray, Pineda, Ventura and Archer are working out quite well for their respective owners.

Then you can statscout and hold out for elite prospects while I scoop up the emerging midrotation guys with legit arsenals.

I have no intention of selling him, actually, although I literally just got an inquiry. I'll wait for him to get some legit hype before I consider that, right now he's found money.

Honestly, the biggest snag is that he isn't 40. I like my pitchers weathered.

I can attest to this. Gray is a beauty. Desmond was tough to give up though

But speaking of 40 yr olds. BARTOLO COLON!? What is up with this guy? He seemed to be pretty much on his way out of baseball years ago. He's allowed one(1) walk so far this season over 40.1 innings. He's got a 34.00 K/BB ratio. This is like 2010 Cliff Lee.

Despaired by last night much?

But yeah, Bartolo is my man.

I'm despaired so much by our matchup. Between Colon and his stem cell injections, Strasburg exploding, Hahn imploding, I just don't know how to feel.

And the wonderful news just keeps coming...

Yasiel Puig (hamstring) has yet to resume running the bases. - Puig did some running in the outfield two days in a row over the weekend, but he's evidently not yet been cleared to run the bases yet and won't begin a rehab assignment until that happens. It had been looking like Puig had a good shot to return on May 10 when first eligible, but that's looking less likely now.

You mean you're not gonna pack it in during the first week of May with a team that has both Kershaw and Trout..?

Shaking my head. Some people never learn when to cut their losses and start over. It must be a pride thing.

I think an overpay for a B.Inge pitcher is in order to stick it to Min.

you have pitchers?

Leonys Martin went down also, but that may actually strengthen your team.

I'm going to open up the betting for who's going down next.

Leonys Martin is the CF version of Elvis Andrus, for fantasy. Funny that you and Texas own both of them.

Unfortunately my adoration of James Paxton is long documented.

There's been a couple of recent inquiries on Jake Odorizzi. I'm putting him on the block. If you're interested email me

You're alive!! ;)

I'm still waiting on Martin's breakout. Then you will all see...

Sorry, I meant pictures.

I'd write a blank cheque for B.Inge pictures. There's no such thing as an overpay
