ok, I didn't get to this last night (damn baby is hard work). I traded for Schoop with the intention of having to drop/promote someone (probably him). Obviously BTS pushed the deal through before I did this and I forgot to do it.

 

At this point I don't really care if my penalty is loosing Schoop, but I'd promote someone if that is acceptable. I'll leave that decision to the Darryls. If I'm ruled eligible to keep him, I'll just promote him as part of the original transaction.
