Betances sitting ~94 today, touching 96. He just threw a FB at 91, which is possibly lower than any single FB he threw last season (minimum 91.5).

 

Sat 96.7 last season and touched 100.4.

 

Still has the wicked knuckle curve and the velocity is still comfortably above average, so who knows how much it will affect his performance.

 

Or maybe he's one of the dudes who "warms up" quite a bit as the season progresses.
