TRM Verified Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Silvergun, Yu must be pretty bummed about this. I think I speak for everyone else in the league when I say HalleYujah! I'll see myself out...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Carlos Rodon dazzled in his Cactus League debut against the Padres on Friday, striking out four and allowing just one hit over two shutout innings of work. The 22-year-old top prospect is getting a chance to show White Sox management what he's capable of while Chris Sale is sidelined with a fractured foot. While he's unlikely to crack the Opening Day rotation, a strong showing this spring could speed up his arrival. Mar 6 - 6:06 PM Fapfapfap

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Still can't believe you got Rodon for two fantasy non-prospects Yes, I'm just so dumb.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Boxy is going to regret this. I'll add it to the list, I'm sure. Meanwhile, Bird is 3/7 with a pair of ringing doubles this spring. I'm sure that's irrelevant, though, unlike Rodon's one inning of work.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 7, 2015 Author Posted March 7, 2015 I think that counts, but only because the doubles were ringing. Hopefully Yahoo adds Ringing Dubs as a stat for 2016.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I hope Carlos Rodon has a brilliant Sunday performance to knock you out of the playoffs.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Hopefully Yahoo adds Ringing Dubs as a stat for 2016. I've got the jump on the Math geeks on this one. Now to figure out what it all means. The following table indicates the numbers of changes in extents on varying numbers, and the approximate time needed to ring them. http://plus.maths.org/issue53/features/polsteross/time1.jpg

BTS Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Who can give MW a tow? I need a funk ng tow... You should probably abandon your vehicle ASAP and avoid the DUI.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 You should probably abandon your vehicle ASAP and avoid the DUI. no vehicle...he meant he lost his toe. Always trying to one up Boxy.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Whoops sorry for dealing him to you in the FC, Dinger
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Is there any sort of explanation beyond "Yahoo is dumn" for Daniel Norris not being in the Yahoo database?
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 Is there any sort of explanation beyond "Yahoo is dumn" for Daniel Norris not being in the Yahoo database? Yes. Your dumn.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Is there any sort of explanation beyond "Yahoo is dumn" for Daniel Norris not being in the Yahoo database? No wonder you missed the BBDL playoffs.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 What am I missing here? He's just not there.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Whatever I'm too smart for the DDL anyway
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 GD's chances of ever joining the DDL just went up in smoke.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 With catsass likely in prison indefinitely, this is particularly unfortunate.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 GD's chances of every joining the DDL just went up in smoke. So they went from 0.000000000000000000000000000001% to 0?
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 What am I missing here? He's just not there. Norris is not in BBDL's database because he appeared in the majors but didn't record enough appearances as a starter or a reliever to qualify for either. Jimmy Nelson had the same thing last year and Ace scooped him up for free once he gained eligibility. But this thread isn't about BBDL.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 So they went from 0.000000000000000000000000000001% to 0? You were #1 on the private waiting list power rankings, actually.

Jimmy Nelson had the same thing last year and Ace scooped him up for free once he gained eligibility. But this thread isn't about BBDL. Nor was my question about the BBDL or DDL, specifically. You were #1 on the private waiting list power rankings, actually. Unlikely. -- Question was about a non-board league with different settings than board leagues, so that's where the discrepancy was. Also, Yahoo's pretty dumn. Norris has just "P" and Miguel Sano has SS eligibility, lol.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 He's in DDL's database, yep! GD assumed BBDL and DDL had the same databases, which was dumn. How could they be any different? Yahoo's database and positional eligibilities are standard and not customizable.
