First to complete my team...Always first to finish

Broxton, Strickland, Holdzkum, Johnson, Mercer

I hope you didn't give up much to trade up.

Did you copy and paste this line directly from the e-book "101 Tips To Win Your Fantasy League -- Written by Alan T."

Sounds like a smart man. Where can I get a copy?

Rusney at a .417 OBP "forecast".

Yeah, I don't use their projections or anything, but it's a fantastic place to get the list of free agents from along with whatever basic stats you want to form your own projections.

I'll take those five over most MiLB drafts. Most teams have to pick up 3 relievers. I'd rather have my pick of three than wait for what's left. I think I traded two players that would have made my cuts Fiers (who also got me Confronto and Micah) and Watson...who I replaced with Quakenbush. The other two players were Hellickson and Soriano. I'm sure I'll be doing it again next year if we still have a waiver draft.

I dunno, I still see like 30 relievers I'd be fine rostering.

I'll be the first to admit that it didn't work out as well as I hoped. I looked at the previous year and saw like 8 of the first 25 turned into keeper types. Just a weaker looking field this year I guess.

Keepers from last year (may have missed some I'm just doing this by memory)

Tanaka 1

Abreu 2

Butler 4

Guerrero 5

Span 7

Soria 15

Gregerson 19

Davis 22

Byrd 23

Reddick 31

Smith 32

O'Day 53

KRod 58

Murphy 64

Watson 70

Dickerson 88 (not bad return)

Davis 99

The waiver draft doesn't have the biggest impact on the pool but it had more impact on the pool last year than the initial MiLB draft.

Too much comment by BTBitch. no worries.

I wish you were 25 like you thought.

Just saving face really. Had Karns most of last season and dropped him when he didn't make the 40 man in September. Never expected them to put him in the rotation at the very end of the season like they did. By then it was too late to snatch him back up. Was somewhat relieved to see him dropped even if ideally I wouldn't have had to spend a pick on him. There's a couple of lessons to be learned there. If you have a prospect knocking on the door, don't assume that not being added to the 40 by September is the final word and if you're not competing, think long and hard before dropping a youngish player even if you don't think he's going to play. Outlook can change a lot during the off-season. Best to keep your youngish options open.

I'm thirsty now...especially after losing Kane.....Faaaaaaawk!

You mean Karns. Also, I'm not married to him. I drafted him because it was the time to do so or kiss him goodbye for good but he's not my favourite pitcher or anything (hence dropping him in the first place). We can probably work something out.

No Kane, leading scorer in the NHL, as for Karns, possibly.
