Steamer actually projects Moss to improve next year: 28 HR, 132 wRC+

Upton: 23 HR, 124 wRC+

Kemp: 20 HR, 124 wRC+

Springer: 28 HR, 117 wRC+

Jones: 27 HR, 116 wRC+

Donaldson: 26 HR, 127 wRC+

Harper: 25 HR, 137 wRC+

I think I've owned Moss in every single one of my leagues the last two years. The second half injuries he tried to play through last year depressed his numbers, but he was 148 wRC+ in the first half before they hit. He's a monster, and massively underrated in fantasy.

He's coming along fine from surgery, that LH power bat in Cleveland no less, gives me a chubb!

I think if he's healthy, there's no reason he can't give you 30/90 this year.

Assuming that's Henderson Alvarez you gave up with the pick (and I like Hendo), I can say that there's no way in hell anyone is getting Moss from me for a package like that. Really good deal for you imo. I can't even imagine what the lowball offers were.

Like this for Spanky. A lot of Hendo's value is tied to Marlins Park.

Agreed, or at least the NL. I do expect him to keep the ERA in the low 3s in the near future, though I don't expect to ever get a lot of Ks. The BB rate is very nice however, so he's a solid OBPA play also.

Pre-deadline deals for teams that are stacked like Dinger, kind of sucks...Hendo and a 28th should do him well.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned that, well, not like you weren't aware.

Yeah, no surprises here. We're all aware of his warts and strengths. The bottom line is, this is still an ERA league, and Marlins park is exceptional at supressing runs... especially HR.

I have an over abundance of prospects thats going to be need to get cut down so i am open to trading anyone for Outfield help. Thank You

He's actually more of an OBPA liability. Groundballers tend to be - give up too many singles.

I'd say Spanky wins. Higher upside for Moss in the short term, and in the long term arms like Hendo are not difficult to find.

Going by the LOD draft (just as a reference, derp) no other pitcher in the Top 155 was offered for Moss. The best I could have done was something older but also warty, like Gallardo, Fiers, or Leake.

Hmmm. Fiers might have been a good gamble if you're chasing upside in a K/BB league. Moss has way more value than him though.

Well, at least you got younger.

If it was me, and I say this not knowing your roster, I probably would have traded one of your other outfielders who was in demand for a higher end pitcher, and kept Moss who I'd imagine would perform similarly.

I don't trust Fiers at all. No one really believes in Moss, but as much as I like him, I don't see his value increasing any more.

Moss is obviously legit, it's just that the batting average seems precarious enough going forward that his perceived value will wary wildly from person to person. I think.

I'd rather not deal Bautista or Braun to keep Moss, clearly.

He doesn't really have any other viable trade options. A few guys that are just too good to deal, Allen Craig who nobody wants, Ortiz who would be tough to find a value match for. Only other option would maybe have been to trade Pujols.

I offered Craig for Fiers, but jaysblue insisted on Moss. I expect Craig to be good again, hence I'm banking on him as my primary bench bat. He was one of the best hitters in baseball until his Lisfranc injury.

Great problem to have lol.

Yeah, I have him as well. I'm a bit concerned about playing time, but assuming he gets it and the injury doesn't cause too much trouble, I expect him to bounce back.

I think he gets traded. If not, he can hit his way to playing time.

Holy f***! Pick up a bat and lose a bat in the same day...V-Mart tore his MCL, has to go see Dr. Andrews. *sighs*

It's not his MCL. It's his meniscus. Much, much less serious.

I think they call that an "amputation".
