I guess I just have more faith in Votto getting over his thigh problem than Tulo turning in healthy seasons going forward. It seems like when players start going down the road Tulo is on, things don't really ever get better.

 

Hmmm. See I'm more concerned about Votto because he's had that hamstring issue a few times, so it might be chronic. Tulo's injuries have been more random. I think they are a consequence of a big body like his playing shortstop every freaking day, but I don't think there is a substantially troubling underlying issue.

When Tulo is healthy, yes I think he's far superior to everyone else at the position. We're also talking about someone who's cracked 600 PA once (barely) in the last 5 years though.
