7-6 round 1 playoff loss to Nick that came down to the Sunday night game. I sat Ortiz to preserve a high 0.300 team OBP. Nava and Cano got on base like 6 times in 8-9 chances for Nick to flip OBP. Ortiz got on base enough times that I would have won had I played him. My team then dominated the next two weeks taking me to a 5th place finish that might have been a DDL championship had I played Ortiz, or Nava not had a good game.

I knew of it, just didn't think of it as a waiver claim, just a pick up. Waiver priority carries over from year to year in the FC. I was sitting in the 3 spot.

 

edit. In case you don't know I'm not really that concerned about it (and the message you sent me was right about the time that my inbox was full so I deleted all messages). I don't really treat any non-cash pools all that seriously. If I did I'd drop down the numbers I play. The only one I care about is my Ottawa pool that has the $250 buy-in and charges for every move. I'm sitting 2nd in a good cashing spot in that one but have lost Fernandez, EE, Cutch and Tulo.

I'm not a lock for the playoffs by a long shot. You will probably beat me, you have a better team. I wasn't really happy with my PL draft and losing my first pick for the year kinda put me in an uphill battle from the get go.

 

But I'm gonna rib ANYONE I manage to beat in the DDL because what else do I have!?
