Chris Young is having a freaky season, he's maintaining that ERA around 3 despite the worst xFIP and GB% among qualified starters. I guess playing in Safeco is gold for extreme flyball guys. I own him in my other league and he's been a must-start lately. Probably it's mostly BABIP luck, but he continues to be very useful.

I think the problem is that most playoff teams already have their OF/UTIL spots covered. I already have to bench a capable bat every day. Rajai is a solid piece but he's no better than anyone I'm sending out right now.

It hurt giving up OT, but I've been wanting to trade an OF for an IF prospect for a while and I think Russell will be as big a fantasy asset as OT when you account for position. Gotta give up something to get something.

Tough road to climb to make the playoffs. 7 games under 0.500, and you have to pass TRM, Sammy, and Catsass, all of which are 10+ games over.

I'm looking to make moves that both help me this year and moving forward. I have some young pieces I'm willing to move as well as some vets that I could move.

 

My team had a lot of bad luck early on. I'm not looking to tank by any means. If I make the postseason then great. If not, I like my core that's intact moving forward.
