Ah damn, oh well, at least the White Sox play a righty tomorrow.

Gillaspie seems to be taking classes at the same school of LD>30% that Chisenhall is.

Sweet dreams Speedy... MWUHAHAHAHAHA.

If EE landed that return and even some posters said that wasn't enough, I wonder what Tulo should get...let the sweepstakes begin :)

Gallo and Sano is a huuuuuge package of fantasy upside. I love it long term for speedy.

I'm not sure which side of the deal I like more. From a win now standpoint it looks good for Silvergun. EE is probably a top 10 bat. He may start declining soon though. Speedy got 2 huge upside prospects. If even one of them hit their ceiling I think it would be a win for Speedy. And Jacob deGrom is the real treasure in this deal, star in the making.

Will you be next ;)

Lol what assets do I have left? If someone wants to trade me a superstar for Miguel Almonte and Marco Gonzales, come on down.

So of all the stud arms I traded in FC this off-season, 3 have already had elbow MRIs (Bradley, Ventura, Syndergaard), one has had shoulder problems (Cingrani), one has been jerked around by an idiot org (Gausman), and one has had continued control problems (Sanchez). Jon Gray still looks like a stud, but the moral here is cash in your prospects (esp arms) before they blow up or the hype bubble bursts.

I agree 100%.

That's going to look very creepy to speedy since he probably doesn't know why I'm laughing.

LOL, I was like wtf...Had to read back a page

Ahh.....I see, I'm kind of loaded with arms. Good deal guys, hopefully it works out for you fellas.

Thanks Spank!

I like this for Silvergun but it's a good return for SpeedyGose. Much better than recent other prospect packages we've seen. Impact talent.

Ya, as I said a bit earlier I didn't think I was a true contender this year so I wanted The Cat's Ass 1-2 year rebuild :P.

I really only wanted positional studs. When trading a huge asset like Edwin I didn't want an arm that could potentially blow out any day. For everyone saying Gallo is risky, I thought that was even riskier. IMO Gallo will be universally known as a top 25 prospect and Sano already being top 5.

Also, my farm seems to be perfectly built for a 2 year rebuild: Russell, Sano, Gallo, Zimmer, Stephenson, Rymer Liriano, Edwin Escobar and Jesse Biddle (All look to appear big league ready by 2016)

My DL rotation is starting to climb to the elite ranks of DL rotations in this league...

Bundy

Yordano (I'm assuming)

Paxton

JJ

Hultzen waiting in the wings on the MiLB DL.

oh yeah!

Is anyone else excited for the upcoming draft? It's happening next week, right...

The draft is the June 7th weekend so we'll probably start ours a few days after. I'm so excited (even though I haven't done any research yet).

Anyone know when the cut down deadline is?

I think you've officially passed z3r0s for league bet farm.

anyone know why Lucas Giolito hasn't pitched since May 11? I can't seem to find anything (on Google), anyone have any good resources for MiLB news?

Yeah, I haven't done much research at all.

I have two midterms the week after, it's going to be hard to study with the draft on :(

A lot of my research will probably happen in the days following. I do keep an updated list of guys I hear about though. It has ~20 names atm.

I basically don't prepare for the draft at all until it starts and my picks are looming. Somehow I've nailed both drafts. You guys must be dumn or something.

I find the best way to find info on prospects is to search their name in twitter - usually beat reporters will have posted updates on their twitter account that doesn't get picked up by google for some reason.

Lucas Giolito hasn't pitched since May 11. The Nats say he's fine, and they're just managing his innings. http://wapo.st/1nBLBEk

I tried this last year and ended up throwing most of my picks down the drain. I'm just going to rank a top 50 this year (since I only have 4 picks) to make my life easier.
