Child please, there's nothing smoke and mirrors about mid-90s heat and a wipeout slider.

His mechanics are a mess though. They have led, and will continue to lead, to injury, a lack of control and a big platoon split.

He's got 90 decent innings in his career, Medlen just reeled off 350 IP with the 2nd lowest ERA in baseball and an elite K/BB. Perfect buy-low opportunity for a rebuilding team, or they could buy-high on Ross and watch him regress into the mediocre long-man that he's been for the other 70% of his career.
