You know how the Leafs like to get up 2 goals and then get outshot 28-0 in the third sitting around until the other team ties the game, but maybe they won’t?

 

they’ll play this way with the points cushion on Florida, until you give up on them.

It’s a thing cheering for this team, they look bad in Pittsburgh and they are rightfully criticized, they respond with a 4-0 equally impressive win over the Pens two nights later and NObODY seemed to notice this.

They've been a let down all season long. People expected a top 4 team in the conference, not a fringe playoff team. They need to go on a real winning streak to deserve any cookies.

they've always been a letdown since 1973 except for the Gilmour peak years, and I think that was just being good in that FPOS Norris division for once....

 

the Leafs are always the beta squad in the playoffs, i watched Salming get punched in the face after whistles 10 times each playoff game for more than a decade.

 

the fun part is the bandwagon effect would be 10,000 times that for the title runs of the Raptors and Jays, it's that deep and important to us

 

enjoy the ride, I don't expect them to get by Boston if they meet up...

I don't know what you guys are talking about, man. Leafs played well defensively the last 2 games, the goals are not a worry. Any loss stings, but a couple hot goalies can do that, is what it is.

I was commenting on the Anaheim game specifically, the Leafs weren't good at all, against a group they should shred.

 

Ray Ferraro was talking about how lifeless the Toronto bench is earlier today, specifically talking about that game from his view between the benches. Thinks they are lacking passion, emotion and seem content to go through the motions.

If he says the Leaves suck ass, he's probably correct. Hopefully they can hang on and barely make the playoffs with the biggest market and at the payroll cap. Pretty hard to do in that situation.

 

I share your hope that all the other teams' good players get injured at the same time, only chance the Leaves have.

I know lots about hockey, like how it sucks and Leaf fans are a bunch of dumb, drooling cavemen. I also know that sometimes losing is as good as half of a win, which doesn't really make sense but whatever.
