I’m numb to the pain, and actually look forward to the next disaster, whereas you are still capable of being hurt. The leafs look f***ing awful.

 

Also, I’m a lightning fan so my team is better than yours.

So why do the leafs keep Sparks as their backup anyway? Seems like he really sucks, and it’s an easy place to upgrade.

He can be okay, but in hindsight, keeping McElhinney would have been wise, but losing two 25 year old goalies in Sparks and Picard would've been asinine.

I hope the people who had the temerity to jeer Gardiner on home ice realize how essential he is to the back end. They desperately need him and Dermott back. Only Rielly is capable of transitioning well out of his own zone and making a crisp breakout pass. The replacements are just trash.

The last wildcard spot is being held by Columbus....they're on a 95.67 point pace this season.
