While rebuilding, they shouldn't. Just enjoy the process. It's an exciting team to watch, bro. Same goes for the Jets.

Nah they have a good team and are starting to push the deadweight out. First time in the history of the team where they can roll 4 full lines without the 4th (and 3rd) line being a liability. Pavelec abolished to AHL backup, Stuart and Thorburn are healthy scratches. Hellebuyck was a top 3 goalie in ES SV% last season..

 

They just need Little to comeback healthy, and Trouba or a Trouba equivalent to help out on defense. I think they have a good shot at making the playoffs this year.

Nothing new. He's still at home and the Jets aren't in a rush to make a trade.

What ever came from the Travis Hamonic Situation. I thought there could be a starting block between the 2 of them as they both wanted out.

If this team went 0-82 I wouldn't blink. It's funny that you think wins matter at this point. They don't.

 

Choking on a lead is something I'm glad this young core felt and experienced. Good lessons to be learned on what not to do.

Islanders didn't have interest in Trouba for Hamonic and the Jets didn't want to add, then Hamonic took back his trade request when the season ended.

Nah that's just a lame excuse. He wants out of town probably closer to home. And then his asking price is too high.

Agent Kurt Overhardt isn't concerned by the Dec. 1 deadline for Jacob Trouba to get signed.

Advice: If he doesn't have a contract by then he isn't eligible to play in the 2016-17 campaign. "It's not something on our minds," Overhardt told the Winnipeg Free Press on Monday. "There's obviously a lot of time between now and then. We're going to continue to keep working in good faith and try helping to facilitate a positive transaction so everyone can benefit." GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has been working hard for some kid of resolution, but there is still no contract and no trade in place for Trouba.
