The goalie market is saturated. There really isn't any reason to believe that Andersen is better than James Reimer, who will sign for like 2/6 or something in a few weeks.

I'll agree Reimer is better than Bernier.

You can get good goalies on the cheap. For example, Thomas Greiss last offseason. Reimer is another one. It makes sense.

Greiss is getting paid peanuts but is top 10 in even strength SV% over the past 3 seasons.

You're right, save% stabilizes after 3000 shots against and Greiss is only at 1800. However it's not Greiss fault that he was primarily deployed as backup before he took a larger role with the Islanders this season and he's performed elite when given the chance.

Middle of the pack if you go by ES goals against. Toronto is bottom 3 though. Over the 3 same 3 year span of the image above.
