canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Leafs are very quiet which isn't a bad thing but i was hoping for some moves
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Is Boston blowing it up? WTF? They're up against the cap, so yeah.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Who do you guys want the Leafs to take at 24? I don't know anything about these guys.
BTS Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Ottawa's pick seems very dumn in his interview.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Ugh 24 for 29 and 61? At this point your targeting guys you like...they must feel comfortable getting their guy at 29 and 61 is free... Good trade if we get our guy
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Lack to the Canes for a 3rd round pick(15) and a 7th round pick(16).
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Author Posted June 27, 2015 Aaaaaaand the stupid Nucks kill the goalie market. Kylington, Sprong, Roy still available.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Talbot and a 7th rounder to the Oil for a 2nd 3rd and 7th round pick.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Like the Dermott and Bracco selections by the Leafs.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Any Leafs fans out there? There is a pre-sale for preseason games going on right now. Got a pair of greens in Section 318, row 5 for $94 against the Montreal Canadiens at the end of September.
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Islanders drafted someone named Andong Song out of China lol

BTS Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Who said that? Glenn Healy? I've been hearing it from everyone (analysts, GMs, scouts) on the NBC broadcast the entire draft.
Laika Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Still in shock that my favourite team traded Seguin, Soderberg, Lucic, Hamilton, and Boychuk in the last couple of years, and has so little to show for it. I don't follow amateur hockey so no idea if any of Boston's picks this year were good, but I highly doubt any of them will ever be as good as Hamilton or Lucic.

Even if all of Boston's picks turn out to be really good players, that's still horrendous asset management. Because you could've drafted those same guys late 1st or in the 2nd round, and had at least 3-4 extra picks and kicks at the can to show for it by trading down to that range.
