P2F Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 7 in 8 days? That doesn't seem impossible for him.

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Thanks, just saw it. I don't know how I missed it.
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 So the Yankees are 9 games over .500 with a +1 run differential. Because of course.
Jays Verified Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Valbuena hitting 5th for the cubs today.
Nox Verified Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Watching the Philly/ATL game. Amaro wants to be a buyer, especially in the bullpen. How the f*** can this person be a GM?
Nox Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Phillies fans; "I'm reading that Anthopoulos wants to be a buyer, especially in the rotation. How the f*** can this person be a GM?" Sadly accurate.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 We are the Phillies. Right down to the identical record, bleak future, and aspirations of contention this season. Well on the bright side, at least we aren't paying Ryan Howard $85 million over the next 3 years.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 We are the Phillies. Right down to the identical record, bleak future, and aspirations of contention this season. At least they made the post season when they cleared the farm and got old players. We did the same as them but we can barley be .500 lol
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Only 3 more years? For some reason I thought there were like 7 years left on that deal. Yep, it's just a 5/125 deal that kicked in starting with the 2012 season. There's also an option for a 6th year but even though Amaro is stupid; I don't think he's THAT stupid.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Epic fail by FOX--they called Darin Ruf "Darin Ruff" who's spell-checking there?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Phillies fans; "I'm reading that Anthopoulos wants to be a buyer, especially in the rotation. How the f*** can this person be a GM?" There's no way those people notice the Jays. They just puke all over one another.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Koji got tagged with another blown save for Boston, sucks to be in their bullpen.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Beltran stole home on a double steal in the Stl/Mia game.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Mo blows a save as Adam Jones hits a 2 run HR off his fastball. If the Yanks lose today, they plunge all the way to 4th, as Tampa is also winning.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Man, David Price is dominating the White Sox..just 86 pitches into the 9th inning.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 FYI, for the Yanks sake, here's the projected pitchers for the Royals series: Hughes Sabathia Nova Pettite Vs. Guthrie, Shields, Davis, Santana. With the Yanks difficulty to score, it could be a tough series.

digiblader Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 One of the best last place teams in baseball--if we were in the Central or West, we'd be in 3rd right now(lots of bad teams in the Central and West). And don't get me started on the NL East and West.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) Honestly - could one or two of these other AL East teams go on a losing streak? Please. It's ridiculous how they all just keep winning. Tampa and New York just keep finding a way. Edited July 7, 2013 by G-Snarls
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Honestly - could one or two of these other AL East divisions go on a losing streak? Please. It's ridiculous how they all just keep winning. Tampa and New York just keep finding a way. It would be nice if a couple of them fell off. TB and NY keep winning because they can pitch, imo anyway.

BabbaGanoush Verified Member Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 It was never this bad tho, it was always Boston and NY, then it was TB, NY and BOS and now BAL is also in it.
