And how about Vernon Wells? 10 HRs already! He's looking like a Comeback player of the year--Angels should NEVER have traded him.

You're clueless.

Per Rotoworld:

David Price left Wednesday's start against the Red Sox in the third inning with left triceps tightness.

Not good. The Rays will provide an update on Price's status after the game, but he'll surely need a trip to the disabled list. The left-hander was charged with four runs on five hits and a walk over 2 1/3 frames before exiting. Chris Archer and Jake Odorizzi would be options to replace him in the rotation if Price does indeed need a DL stint.

If Gordon gets a hit tonight, some guy gets $5.6 million in BTS.

He has to get to 57. He's at 43 right now.

LOL Rick Ankiel smashes a home run in St. Louis for the Mets. 2-2 Now.

Shelby Miller loses the win after giving up 0 runs. Let Harold Reynolds suck on that.

I won't cry if we miss Price next week...

What a first inning disaster for Hughes today. Grand slam Raul Ibanez. Didn't even finish the first inning. 7 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks.

OUCH

Angels down 6-0, they'll never win any games with that pitching. They could even use Ramon Ortiz.

Six batters have come up in the third... all have reached base.

They need RickyRo!!!

I keep saying that I think this division is soooooo wide open. There is not a team in this division that we have to worry about running away with it. Everyone is having their problems with pitching, not just us. I'm not actually sure who is in the worst shape in this division. As much as I want to think last year was a fluke for Baltimore, I think they are most likely the team to beat in the east this year. Price hasn't been himself all year and outside of Moore, their entire staff has been a question mark this year and will continue to be. With no Price and Hellickson and Hernandez being nothing special, their rotation is relying on two rookies in Cobb and Moore. As good as they are, they are basically both rookies and will probably hit that wall sooner or later. When they do, that team is in real trouble because outside of Rodney, their bullpen sucks ass. The Bosox? LMFAO...Lackey, Doubront and a hit and miss Dempster. With a guy made of glass like Bucholz who is pitching way over his head......and their closer out for the year..and Bailey being injured. That team is falling fast and with good reason. When Pedroia and Ortiz don't hit, that team could easily be the worst in the division. Which leads me to the Yanks...Hughes, nice game today pal. Petite and CC could carry this team for a bit and carry it they will have to. They've performed well til now with our garbage like Wells and Overpay, but like the bosox, that will run out. All it will take is a series against Texas, just like what started the sox freefall, and they will be hurtin' just the same.

IMO, the daunting AL East isn't so big and bad anymore. There seems to be more parity in the AL than I can remember for a long f***ing time. The Jays start wasn't all that bad considering how vulnerable the rest of the division is. I know, the jays really sucked willnots for a strtch there, but it's certainly not anything they can't come back from, especially considering the mediocrity in this division right now.

They'd probably take him, seriously. None of their starters right now are above Major League average.

MLB hoping for large replay expansion in 2014

NEW YORK (AP) -- Major League Baseball hopes to expand video review by umpires for the 2014 season and says all calls other than balls and strikes could be subject to instant replay.

Commissioner Bud Selig and MLB executive vice president Joe Torre say they still can't commit to expanded replay for next year. Torre hopes to have proposals by the August owners' meeting.

Replay has been in place for potential home run calls since August 2008. Selig initially wanted to add trap plays and fair/foul calls down the lines, but Torre said a far larger expansion is possible.

Selig and Torre spoke Thursday after a quarterly owners' meeting. Torre made his presentation to owners following two high-profile mistakes by umpires last week.

Says Torre: ''Have we had a bad week or so? Yeah.''
