I don’t want to trade cease. It would entail someone taking on a Vlad contract too and eating a lot of money like I said. Rogers wouldn’t do it though I think we are stuck with him for 14 years unless he does a wander Franco and gets caught with a gun or something, maybe his contract is voided. -

Well we did it. We beat the kings of the AL east. A most formidable team. Yet I don’t feel any better.

Well the thread stood for a few days. So I assume most mods were ok with it, but someone with connections higher up must have called in a favour. Maybe grant or spanky. Not one for conspiracy stuff normally.

If we win 11 in a row I think we might be buyers. That would get us back in the wildcard race. win 1 at a time and all of a sudden we won 11. Boston easily won 15 in a row, 11 should be easier, approx 27% easier -

9-2 isn't actually bad. 8-0 looks bad, like we didnt even try. But 9-2 looks like, yea we tried a bit but it just wasn't enough to beat the rays, who are basically a super team. In a few years we will come back much stronger. As soon as Vlad is off the books I could see us making a run at the playoffs.

it doesn't matter, he is our ace. When our GM calls other teams, he just has to say it's our ace, then hopefully they dont check the stats and send us some good prospects. Then we also have to hope that nobody knows Cease is actually our ace. But Gausman has been burned into alot of peoples heads as being our ace for so long it shouldn't be that hard to gaslight a GM.

if I had 500 million I wouldn't be buying a Vlad. Buy a few yachts, maybe a jet and some beach front real estate all around the world and put the rest in SP500. Maybe even a private chef and a house cleaner.

No they deleted it but they can’t ban me because we do free speech here. unfortunately because of that I will have to overrun some other threads with Red Sox news but I don’t think many people will mind. tthe Sox game is postponed tonight which kinda sucks, was looking forward to it all day

Maybe try supporting the team unconditionally like a true fan. Do you think he isn’t trying? Do you think he doesn’t feel embarrassed and pain and has normal feelings like you or me? Is he not human?

If we win it’s great for us sure, but it also lets the Red Sox gain another game in the standings which is ideal. Ill always be a jays fan second and second most, but its nice to see the Sox do well finally

3 game set against the orioles who are also hot, but I think we will take this to 16. The real challenge will be getting the win streak to 24-26 against the dodgers next week.

hey Brock can we get a Red Sox game thread going here too? I think enough of us here are heavily invested in that story and it would clear up some space in the around baseball thread. Exciting times. Hopefully the sox can keep it going and take the division. This feels kind of like our playoff run last year. Got a chapman jersey on back order because they all sold out for the time being.

Yea although the orioles are the least successful team in the division lately, I just don’t think I can support them. I will never get over how unlikable that mid 2010s team was and plus they have the most toxic Internet forum in the whole WWW based on the last time I read it a few years ago. i honestly get high blood pressure just thinking about Chris Davis face
