  1. Imais home city was one of the potential targets for the A-bomb. Team from country that wanted to wipe your family from existence, or team from country that never made A-bombs at all. Slam dunk choice from my perspective. Lets hope Imai knows history and can hold a multi generation grudge.
  2. His mother isn’t that attractive either
  3. Did you know his parents assembled and housed a team of 15 Dominicans for Addison to play with so he could get better. I think his high school team wasn’t giving him playing time.
  4. Yea but that was an accident. He was treating ringworm
  5. Tatis also signed one of those “have a structured settlement need cash now?” deals that Clase did. He got hurt motorcycling in the off-season, more than 1 accident. He is a high risk individual.
  6. Japanese Fabio being posted in a week, Nov 19 Clase saying the phone calls they think were about pitch rigging were actually about his Cocks (he does cock fights)
  7. Dodgers are saying we lost because clement celebrated an insurance run. Not IKF’s fault.
  8. Yea but he would be able to freely say he was injured and still sign the option. He seems like an honest guy, why hide the issue and ruin goodwill with fans? If he had a known issue it is surprising he would be willing to go for game 7 If he was hurt, it will look bad on him and management for letting him go in the 11th.
  9. I always said I wanted Fairbanks at less than $11m which seems to be his value. it is odd the rays wouldn’t pick that up for 1/11 though. No trade value at all at that price?
  10. It is crazy that he was the only one who knew Hoffman could be good. I was sure he was finished.
  11. The only way Santander gets moved is either eating the money or some type of shady backroom deal that will land Atkins in prison. Or I guess taking someone equally as bad contract for a pitcher or something. His contract could still be good, we need to give him a few months to see what he can do.
  12. Varland pretty sure had clean inning or 2 outs at least game 7, Ser no ER but shaky outing, 10th inning But yea Hoffman worked out in the playoffs for us. So I guess John was right to stick with him. I still felt he should have lost his job to anyone we had willing to step up in the 9th though, or at least try it out a few games
  13. Dominguez should have been given a shot. Or Varland. Considering Hoffmans results he was very lucky to keep that job even without us having other good options.
  14. No manager who played Hoffman as the closer should have won MOY. Playoff Hoffman is completely different but that's not what they were voting on. Also, IKF.
  15. Was just watching that clip of Kevin Millar asking if he’d rather have A-rod or their current shortstop, Garciaparra and he says “we’ll take A-rod”. Hoping we get the same drama and an interview with Vlad asking if he’d rather sign Tucker or Bo
  16. This was all voted on before playoffs
  17. Guardians have 2 players gambling on pitches. Get down 15 games to the tigers and make up 16 games because the tigers completely fall off. Maybe don’t go down 15 games in the first place? Fair enough
  18. Ippei is getting under 200m. He’s not as good as the other guy the dodgers have. its always a gamble with these guys. They are small (think this guy is same size as Yamamoto) and there are always concerns they won’t match up well with MLB hitters so it’s probably not a risk most teams can afford to take, other than the top 10 payrolls
  19. yea we almost non tendered vlad
  20. Olney says after talking to agents, everyone wants to come to Toronto now. It is the #1 destination for all free agents. That was a bit of an exaggeration but not really. This is the year to take advantage. Get Tucker and Bo and Imai.
  21. Not that I think the Dodger's would necessarily try to get Imai but it will be nice to see one of these guys not go to that team. He also complains in another interview that nobody is trying to hit homers anymore, they just want to run up his pitch count and foul off balls. Regarding preferred teams, he said, “Feeling that I want to play for a specific team is most important. That is my greatest motivation. I will negotiate with clubs that need me. It doesn’t matter if they are in the East or West.” On U.S. media’s high evaluations, he responded, “I will only feel the reality after directly discussing with teams and hearing their assessments of me
  22. Hi Brock can you please change my user name? Was thinking DantesRevenge and that’s my nickname for Bo Bichette. If we don’t get him back I’ll be in touch with another name change. Also when is the dodger forum going to be ready. Got some words to say about ohtani. I see there is a handful of team forums already.
  23. That was fast, all sites already put in a $200 limit for these bets.
  24. For all sports though, the books are adjusting lines in real time to promote as close to equal betting on all sides of their bets. So they make their 10% pretty much every time.
