That's what I was thinking too for Ohtani. Though they did use Glasnow in relief one time and he had 2 hits 2bb in 1.2 innings. Maybe they don't want to mess with the starters routine of knowing exactly when they need to be ready etc etc

I think so but it's getting complicated now

Ohtani can only stay in the game if he starts. He can’t go relief and come out and keep hitting as DH. I think they can put him relief then move to the outfield to keep his bat. so ideally if we did have a game 7, he goes 2 innings relief, clean innings, goes 0-4 and botches a play in the outfield to clear the bases on a Giminez triple.

Turns out Kevin cash knew Snell can’t handle pressure, it took everyone else this long to find out. Also I didn’t see this posted but we have 100 runs scored this postseason and the record is 101. At least if we don’t end up winning, we will have a handful of niche records broken And Springer expected back for game 6 per Schneider
