  1. Weird Lukes would be in lineup over Varsho, Giminez or Barger
  2. Pitching Hoffman 3 days in a row with a 4 run lead?
  3. Have him start a minor league game then. He wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire before that break either, there was signs of regression.
  4. I feel like some teams are going to cross him off their FA list for that. There has been rumours of shaky makeup but theres just some stuff you can't do and that's one of them.
  5. With the day off Thursday and Monday you just skip their rotation spot all together. I would put one on the IL as its a waste of a roster spot and they could use an extra arm.
  6. They need to just IL him at least for now although he may be super against it since he hasn't gone on the IL his entire career?. Gotta get an extra roster spot since his spot in the rotation will be skipped anyways. Maybe have him go to Dunedin and try to figure out what the issues are.
  7. I thought the jays game ops was bad but that music in between pitches in the 9th was next level bad. Super loud and completely zaps the atmosphere out of the moment in the game.
  8. Vladdys swings have looked terrible tonight and he’s 3/4 lol.
  9. If his defence wasn’t bad enough IKF with one of the most pathetic PA you’ll ever see.
  10. Why is SN hyping up IKf? Guy has been dogshit tonight and cost the team 4 runs.
  11. Another f***ing error. That’s 3 plays he could have made which would be a huge difference in the game.
  12. IKf error just cost 4 extra runs. You can’t be making plays like that as 26th man on the roster.
  13. Yeah he's also been prone to giving up the long ball so I don't think he works as a leverage arm. I see him as more of a once through the order type in lower to mid innings to get a platoon advantage/force the other manager to PH early in the game type. Kind of like the Kikuchi vs the Twins matchup from 23.
  14. Yeah the biggest weakness of the pen is the lack of a good LHP. Little has been really bad for a while now and Fluharty has very poor command as well and his results haven't been good either. I mean the pen is a huge weakness overall right now but assuming some of the guys do get on track there still lacks quality from the Left side.
  15. As good as the bat has been lately his defense has dropped off even more. -13 OAA/-13 DRS 36th percentile arm strenth and 20th percentile sprint speed and the body keeps getting thicker I like the bat but the contract will have some disaster risk. His actions on the infield are pretty poor too just fluidity wise and getting the ball out of his hand been more than a few infield hits this year at balls right at him basically and because of a slow exchange the runner beats it out. Will be really interesting to see what position he plays and how well he plays it next year.
  16. Thing is a lot of the corps who would be interested in these seats already have seats. You add 950 tickets at a price point of $250-$300 per tickets when you already have 1800 seats at $250-$600 behind the dugouts and there is over saturation. Theres a reason they are pushing them so hard on the Tv broadcasts.. they haven't sold many lol. They'll probably just end up giving a lot of them to corporate sponsors so it doesn't look half empty next year. Now if the Jays are able to make a postseason run they might sell a bunch by telling people we will give you World Series tickets in exchange for taking seasons next year etc..
  17. Little has been dog s*** for a while. He really should only be used in low leverage until he finds his command.
  18. That they still haven’t sold them out while the Jays have had this big stretch of good play is telling. With all the premium 100 level clubs already they are getting to the point where they have “too many” premium seats and it’s over saturated. I did a walk through of the experience as they have a demo of it where the td clubs are now and while it looks like a great experience it’s way over priced. It was like $300 a ticket per game lol. If it was $175-$200 they would have sold a lot more.
  19. He's walking 17% of batters at AAA and its not like he had great command before that. The last thing the Jays need right now is another pitcher who comes in out of the pen and starts walking/hitting batters. Add in the pressure of a pennant race and big crowds down the stretch and I think you got to be really careful. The Jays pen already has a lot of the low command/high strikeout guys so he isn't a great fit either. That said it is pretty ugly and maybe he can give the whole team a bit of a spark? But in my head there's a bigger change of failure than success and he will have massive unfair expectations.
  20. Meh I don't care much about the schedule. You gotta worry about yourself and how your team is playing. If the Jays can get back to playing better baseball they'll be fine. With the tie breaker if the Jays go 14-12 in their last 26 games then the Yankees would have to go 17-10 to pass them. That series in the Bronx will be huge and if the Jays could take 2/3 they would be in great shape. Conversely if they get swept that will blow the lead they've gained on them all year. The Red Sox being 3.5 back is even more stacked odds. Outside of the bullpen (which is a big question mark) Vladdy is the biggest thing I'll be watching for. Not sure if its injury related but since he's come back it looks like he has no legs in his swing with lots of flailing of the arms. When he's at his best he stays back on the ball and drives it oppo with authority which he was doing before the injury. If the Jays are going to go on a postseason run they are going to need him to be that middle of the order bat.
  21. Brewers pitching has been pretty damn good though. It hurts that Vladdy clearly isn't right after coming back from the injury. Hopefully its just a timing issue and he can get going again soon. On the bright side the Starting pitching has been fantastic. It was a horrible loss no doubt but it is only 2 games. Red sox lost yesterday and are losing today against the Pirates, how do you think their fans feel?
  22. People are forgetting the Brewers are a fantastic team. Sure the Blue Jays have played badly but the Brewers have the best record in Baseball for a reason and are a better team than Toronto. If you have salvage tomorrow losing 2/3 isn't the absolute worst.
  23. Hahaha I was going to say the exact same thing. Alberta is the only province you can defend yourself and not have to think about the chance of getting charged for it.
  24. The concerning thing with Santander other than health is how soon can he get his timing back because he’s always been a notorious slow starter. He never really had to to begin with earlier in the year so if he comes back struggling how long do you stick with him.
