    I bet their hardly will be any Jays fans at least compared to regular season games. There might be 3-4K Jays fans there but playoffs is just different. Easier for people to plan out going to a regular season game and spending $50 a ticket not going mid week for a 5PM game and shelling out $400 a ticket. Add in the factor Jays are down 2-0 and anyone who was on the fence about going prolly just said screw that.

    I think the plan is bullpen tonight and if it got to game 5 you use Gausman for 4-5 innings and then bring in Trey for 3-4 innings right after.

    Wonder if Judge got tipped off that a inside FB was coming. Tough to sit on 99 with 2 strikes and to pull a ball that far inside is nuts.

    Heineman going to cost them calls again by complaining to the ump about balls 3 inches off the plate saying they should be strikes. Embarrassing

    All this talk about the fans being quiet and the atmosphere is crap is a load of horse s*** lol. Jays crowds in April and May were pretty pathetic themselves and there was barely any noise.

    No Bo and no Varsho certainly exposes this lineup somewhat. Varsho had struggled a lot the last couple of weeks anyways

    Jays benefit more from miscalls because of Kirk’s framing.

    The Barger AB shows you he should be in there over IKF against LHP, IKF bunting with 2 outs goes to show you how bad of a hitter he is.

    Yeah and I would hope he goes and apologizes to the Ump after. If I was an ump I wouldn’t be giving any benefit of a call to a guy who throws his bat on a 3-0 strike down the middle.

    Someone needs to sit down Springer and Vladdy and tell them to shut up and stop complaining about the zone because they are wrong like 85% of the time. And some of these strikes are as clear as day.

    You should just rest Hoffman this next week. He clearly isn’t right. And you need him at his best in the playoffs. The division is basically wrapped up at this point anyways so no need to be this aggressive with his usage.

    I have a feeling if Bo is coming back it isn’t anywhere but DH. I think you have Santander in the France role as a PH in that situation or you just leave Lukes off the roster but a OF with both Santander and Springer in the corners could be ugly.

    Feels like Shapiro will/should get extended regardless. He's not even making baseball personnel decisions himself, basically its on him for putting the GM in his role. But he is doing more work negotiating sponsor deals/renovation plans than he is giving him input on players to acquire at the deadline.

    Not sure I get that hit and run. Also I would have put Giminez in for Straw with the short porch in left plus with the runner on first. Heck I'd have Giminez hit for Straw regardless.

    Not sure I really get bringing in Hoffman here. Dominguez has been just as good, may as well keep them on the same routine.

    Lukes looked horrific on that hanging breaking ball.

    Honestly that error is just as much on Rice. He could have still caught it without taking his foot off the bag, the throw was in time. Most 1B make that play I would think. Still a terrible throw.

    Meh that's in 48 PA and the BB/K rates plus ISO and BABIP make it look like he's been worse than that. His career splits vs LHP still suck. Surprised they wouldn't just put in Varsho who is probably similar and you get the big upgrade in D.

    Scherzer's secondary pitches have been pretty bad for the last couple of starts. As great as the velo has been on the fastball he's struggling putting guys away.

    I doubt Bieber signs here unless you really overpay him. He's a California guy with a wife and young baby and lives in Arizona during the offseason. I think he will go to a team with a AZ Spring facility. Bo has been great but I'm passing on that contract. The decline in defence/speed+ lack of a position and the way his body has looked the last 2 years gives me a ton of hesitancy on what he will be in 4-5 years let alone 7-10 from now.

    I'd probably take Kirk over Vladdy as most valuable given what the backup C spot would look like if Kirk wasn't here. Personally Springer has been the most valuable/best player on the team.
