  1. He's a manager of the year candidate. 🙄
  2. Exactly right. These people calling out Schneider are the clueless ones. He had his closer in the game with the lead. What more would you want? He can't go out there and pitch. This is on Hoffman 100%
  3. It'll be a real sh*t kicking if Pina gets into this game from Buffalo.
  4. That would be nice but it rarely happens for this team. Their pitchers can't seem to deal with prosperity. I thought they were going to cruise to a win against the Giants the other day when it was 7-2. No such luck.
  5. The Yankees lineup with or without Suarez doesn't scare me one bit if you don't pitch to Judge. We shall see what shakes out at this deadline.
  6. I believe the Jays will be targeting swing-and-miss bullpen arms at the deadline and not much else. They have a proven ace on the staff already. His name is Max. They didn't spend over 15 large on him to be depth. Let's see how he looks tonight. They may target a depth starter but they see Manoah filling that void as well. Ross said in the media they would like a right-handed bat. Why would he show his hand like this? It's a calculated move to pressure the Yankees and drive up the price of someone like Suarez. The Jays are counting on Vlad coming around as the big righty "addition". Let the Yankees get Suarez (at an inflated price) he's just another bad defence guy that good pitching can shut down. In fact, good pitching can shut down anyone in that lineup not named Judge. And 4 fingers will shut him down.
  7. He's the TOOTBLAN master. He may be conscious and get mad but doesn't seem to learn his lesson.
  8. Apparently there's quite a history: Michael Saunders tore the meniscus in his knee stepping on a sprinkler head. Brett Cecil cut himself with a knife one year and cut his fingers on a blender the very next year. Colby Rasmus got hit in the head by a throw from Anthony Gose during warmup. Paul Quantrill broke his leg snowmobiling. Maicer Izturis tore up his knee falling down the dugout steps. Rickey Henderson got frostbite on his leg from an icepack. Glenallen Hill woke up from a bad dream freaked out and fell down the stairs. Roberto Alomar got stitches in his forehead from an injury that occurred while he was taking a leak. Lol. I know there's more...
  9. That sounds right. I was sure someone fell down the dugout steps too.
  10. What a history of stupid injuries the Jays have! Bichette steps on a ball just the other day. Now Jimi. Votto stepping on the bat in the dugout last year. I remember a pitcher falling down the dugout steps a while back too. Can't remember who offhand.
  11. It wasn't the diving play at 3rd that made you post?
  12. Yeah terrible 🙄. Among the league leaders in OAA.
  13. Leo Jimenez called up and Clase optioned. This can't be good news for Bichette.
  14. If you do it again tomorrow and he goes 3 for 4 I'll be a believer.
  15. How long do we have to endure Chad Green giving up moonshots before he's busted down to mop up duty? Come on already!! This is a joke!!
