    If the Jays finish the final 13 games at 7-6 the Sox will be eliminated from winning the division and the Yankees would have to go 12-1 to win the east. If the Jays go 8-5 the Yankees need to go 13-0.

    I think it's extremely important that the Ded Sux beat the Yankers tonight. The remaining schedule is more than just favorable to the Yankers. They have 7 with the Orioles, 3 with the White Sox and 3 with the Twins. Jays have 7 with the Rays, 3 with the Royals and 3 with the Ded Sux. We need to learn how to win in Tampa in a big hurry!

    Is it just me or does it seem like every mistake a Jays pitcher makes gets hit? The opposing pitcher makes a mistake it seems like our hitters don't even swing.

    Davis Schneider in LF today. I hope he goes off and wakes up the other Schneider.

    Very frustrating to watch IKF weakly let strike 3 go by in the last at-bat of the game. I didn't understand the acquisition in the first place and now to use him over Schneider in big spots absolutely boggles the mind. DS has carried this team on his shoulders for certain periods of time. He brings danger to the plate with him and generally has had good PA's as of late. Letting him get stale on the bench while IKF and France get the opportunities is criminal.

    Yeah. Just once I'd like to hear him say he's had enough of this sh*t and it's time for a change. I'm not sure how long you can keep letting him cost you like this. He's Chad Green at this point.

    It wouldn't be much of a race if we had a lights out closer. Aroldis Chapman faced 50 hitters without a hit given up till today. Just an example.

    Why let Schneider rot on the bench? I'm pinch hitting him for IKF in the 9th every single time. He would have taken good hacks and been dangerous and definitely wouldn't have watched strike 3 go by. What he did last night notwithstanding, IKF is an easy out.

    A closer that gives up bombs at an alarming rate is a serious problem for a team with championship aspirations. Something needs to be done.

    Pretty weak looking effort from an offense in a pennant race. Have to give the pitcher some credit I guess but it's not like he's Roger Clemens.

    How many teams would pinch hit for their 2 hitter? With a Myles Straw no less. These decisions make me scratch my head to no end. Give me Lukes against a lefty there all day and twice on Sunday.

    Schneider definitely should have hit for Gimenez there. If/when Santander comes back this IKF hole in the batting order better be DFA'd
