    It's not that unfair. He should have made that throw. I don't think he was that great. Yeah he hit a lot of homers but he's all about Marcus. He didn't deserve the gold glove either. I watched him ole a bunch of hard hit balls that year.

    Watching Judge hit bombs everyday while Vlad hits none is truly frustrating!

    If memory serves, that 45 homer 2nd baseman cost them a trip to the playoffs when he couldn't make the simplest throw to first. It would have been nice to see what that team could have done in October. As for this team, sometimes they feel like a team of destiny and the next minute it feels like they're doomed to collapse. If they could ever get the offense firing on all cylinders again I think they could do some damage. They're all going through a down period right now but it might be good to be coming out of it at the right time. Get Bo back and Vlad, Barger and Kirk come around and let's see what happens.

    With Seattle losing last night top spot in the AL would be clinched as well. Yankers and O's are the early game, hopefully it's 10-0 by the time the Jays take the field.

    Orioles are useless. Shocking. Does anyone (including Schneider Atkins and co.) believe this team will go anywhere with Hoffman as closer? I sure don't. He's nothing but shaky!

    Just because these guys are in the lineup it doesn't mean they'll be all that motivated. Hopefully they're in a hurry to get home and swinging at everything.

    That's also true. He's in a bad place right now. Hopefully he breaks out and hits 3 tonight and carries them through October.

    I feel like it's the oppo power that's missing from his game. It seems like he's trying to pull everything sometimes when he should be roping it over the 2nd basemans head. The year he hit 48 bombs I seem to remember a lot of them being to right-centre.

    That's true. And not having Bo behind him hasn't helped for sure. Judging by the way he got down the line yesterday he's over the hammy injury. It's time for him to get over this slump and put up some numbers.

    It was a nice win yesterday. Did Vlad get a ball out of the infield? I don't remember one. He looks absolutely lost at the plate. He's looks like he doesn't have a plan. Does he even listen to the hitting coaches? I've heard nearly every hitter on the team mention Pop, Lou and Hunter in their interviews, Vlad never has. Mattingly is the only one I've seen working with him at all. This slump he's in is extremely frustrating and the timing couldn't be worse. Let's hope he snaps out of it TODAY!!

    Winning the first 2 against the Rays and having the Orioles win at least 1 of the next 2 is the perfect scenario. That would clinch top spot in the AL before Sunday and give us home-field advantage through the ALCS. Gausman can make a light tune-up start on Sunday and be lined up for game 1 of the DS.
