    Moreno and Gurriel are making an impact. Yet all season long, I cannot believed that there were people who defended trade for Varsho. What a complete dud !

    A resounding Yes to the OP question 8 years and nothing to show for. Rogers and co. should mandate Shapiro to fire him. They provided Ross Atkins the financial resources with ZERO results. Analytics means nothing if you donÂ’t combine it with better baseball common sense.

    The biggest irony of this Wild Card series… The Jays scored only 1 run these two games Yet the two guys who got traded out Moreno scored a massive HR in game 1 and a crucial RBI by Gurriel in game 2 for Arizona. 1 more RBI than the rest of the Blue Jays Shove the way deep the orifice of Atkins for acquiring a career .220 hitter in Varsho, last man out for 2023 season LOL

    It was so fitting that Daulton Varsho was the last out before Chapman. Both players epitomized mediocrity. Atkins - traded Moreno and Gurriell for Varsho should be enough grounds for termination. But to continue the employment of an inexperienced manager in Schneider to lead a team with playoffs aspirations and not fire his two hitting coaches in Martinez and Hudgens are more than enough to kick Mr. Ross Atkins out of the door. (A.Rod said it perfectly, Schneider’s decision to yank Berrios early after only 47 pitches was not a sole move but came from the guy above his pay grade) Schneider, Rivera, Guillermo Martinez & Hudgens - fire them now Get rid of these guys: 1. Chapman 2. Varsho 3. Belt 4. Romano

    As I predicted, they barely make it to the WC, but winning can be a huge undertaking especially when they have proven that they have difficulty driving runs all season long. They should have fired Guillermo Martinez and Hudgens before the All Star game. Overall, not a surprise for a one dimensional team. Atkins never thought that building a contending team requires two facets, offense and defense. He only read the front page of his analytics sheet, didnÂ’t realize it is a double sided page.

    After the April hot start, it all went downhill for Chapman. His face staring the big video monitor after being strike out every at bat is hilarious. Then immediately grabs the iPad and analyze the huge hole in his swing.

    They can squeak in the WC spot but beyond that, it is a huge question mark with this teamÂ’s inability to generate runs. Of the 7 top AL teams, Jays have the lowest run differential.

    I predicted a few months back, They still can make it to get the other WC spot but to compete against the big boys, it would be a tall task. Jays is a playoff fodder if ever they make it

    Whoever is the hitting coach of Clement/ Davis Schneider and Horowitz should have been promoted and they could have booted out the door Martinez and Hudgens

    Atkins should have fired Guillermo Martinez and Hudgens a long long time ago. The piss poor offensive numbers in May/ June/ July should be enough data and grounds to terminate those two clowns employment.

    If they donÂ’t make the playoffs: blame it all on The anemic offense with RISP in May/ June and July. It finally caught up with them. August numbers could be too little too late. Hopefully they still can make it with the upcoming winnable games against bottom dwellers. But there are teams ahead of them who may have to struggle. Plus no guarantee that if they take one of the WC spot that it will just be a cakewalk.
