the good ones will cost big, to avoid this you need to develop and have a constant flow of talent. the Astros had no issue trading Wagner and even with their relatively weak system they just called up Zach Dezenzo - younger and higher ceiling than wagner

Jesus Sanchez yesterday was intentially walked, he started down the line but stopped before reaching 1B stood there for a few seconds and was replaced by a pinch runner. He was ruled out because he never touched 1st. Good catch by Craig Counsell.

very rare, just checked and over the past 17 seasons (savant only goes back that far) this has happened exactly 4 times ALL in extra innings (0 runners on, 3 - 1 count). Remove the count filter and it's 19 times total -
