  1. Just started the 3rd time through then they pulled him but might be pitch count as well, he was at 95 pitches so could be that
  2. Dan Schulman please hurry up
  3. Kikuchi gets the win with another good start this time vs the Rays; 5.2 IP 3 Hits 5 K's 0 BB 1 ER Unlike the last 2 games his 4S usage was up over 50%
  4. That sucks for the Yankees and Chisholm, was great pick-up
  5. They're trying hard with Varsho at 2 eh
  6. I have no idea what a deal would look like especially the current version of Vlady. I want him here - they need to extend him
  7. that's a good question, off the top of my head and in no particular order, BOS/LAD(3B?)/SEA(Vlady and JRod)/MIL(will they spend?)/SF(will Zaidi spend?)/NYY(lol). Others would be the Mets (Alonso replacement) and the Braves although I doubt they have the money but maybe AA can make it work
  8. Leo lift that ball kid, big fly!!
  9. Wagner look terrible on that check swing then comes back nicely with a base hit up the middle
  10. nice swing there by Wagner
  11. LAA lineup is trash. wf
  12. Kirk is 10th overall in Catcher Caught stealing above average, in 2023 he was 39th. His pop times are still not good so it's all arm
  13. River Ryan had to leave yesterdays game with a forearm injury. Yes another Dodger pitcher down. Really like that they're able to develop hard throwers but this is ridiculous. Average 4S velo Ryan 97.1 (35%) Skenes 97.7 (34%) LA is loving KK right now, highlight reel catch yesteday.
  14. Potentially yes but he's only at 50 innings pitched for this season, a reliable 4th starter needs to be at 140/150...or so. I like his competitiveness he just needs more time to prove himself and of course he needs to stay on the field/healthy.
  15. Yes, Astros reduced his FB usage and so far it has worked
  16. Vlady's hit streak and listening to Jenny Cavnar (NBC California) call the game were the highlights otherwise a yawner
  17. Ohtani's home runs are magical. 448'
  18. correct and retroactive to 2016, the start of statcast
  19. as long as they have the raw data
  20. the defensive stats for 1B needs alot of work or at least some
  21. like this https://blogs.fangraphs.com/2024-fangraphs-war-update/ replaced UZR with OAA in the calculation of fWAR
  22. That comparison assumes fWAR calculation has not changed since 2010, but it has
