    Being up 2-0 feels really good!! Obviously the Jays are in the drivers seat at the moment. The Jays have to step on their throats and not let up on Tuesday. Can't give them any signs of hope or momentum can shift quickly. This is the exact situation that the Jays picked up Bieber for. I really hope he is up to the task!! Go Jays!!

    Good job Tigers! A friend of mine was at the Mariners game and she said that the crowd roared when the Blue Jays final score was shown because they want to play against the Blue Jays and think that's an easier road. Be careful what you wish for!!

    All the talking heads seem to be giving a quick kudos for a job well done by the Jays today but then spend the next 10 minutes talking about how everything favors the Yankees going forward and how their ace is going in game 2, yada yada yada. The disrespect for the #1 seed is off the charts! Would love for the rookie to shut them down and shut them up tomorrow. Go Jays!

    Wow!! How does he possibly get out of a bases loaded jam with no outs in the bottom of the ninth? That was crazy, but I'm loving it watching the Yankee fans leave the stadium.

    I guess it's possible in order to get Bassitt a start at home. I can't see them doing it but I would understand the reasoning behind it.

    Yeah, he seems to have a pretty good head on his shoulders defensively and makes some pretty smart decisions. That throw from first to third a few weeks ago and the throw home yesterday are just a couple of examples.

    I hope the Jays enjoy the underdog role, because I've been seeing a whole lot of predictions out there and not many (if any) of the prognosticators believe in the Jays. That no respect chip on their shoulders might just have to carry them through.

    Going down 1 run early felt like an ominous sign in such a high stakes game, but Captain Kirk's grand slam just eliminated so much of that early anxiety. I'm just so excited and proud to be a lifelong Jays fan right now. How does a kid from Oregon who was born in the 70's end up with the Jays as his favorite team?? I have no idea, but it happened. Go Jays!

    It's not quite as big as a win or you're out type of game but this really is a do or die game knowing that you can go from the 1st to 4th seed, you would have to play an additional series and you don't have extra time to get Bo healthy. I sure hope Gausman is up to the task and I hope the bats come out on fire!! LFG! I'm not gonna sleep tonight!!!

    I don't think anyone would roll over for the Yanks. You either love them or hate them, with no in between. The Orioles hate them too just like we all do.

    Great win!! What a relief!! Let's keep it rolling. That grand slam by Varsho may just be the hit that gives the Jays enough momentum to finish the job!
