Thanks, I had a strategy of hoarding top players/prospects, even though I knew I couldn't compete this past year. And now I'm using all my assets to upgrade. I made a few really good moves, but I didn't think I'd get the negative reaction over it like I have.
Hey, yeah, thanks. I've been the most aggressive team trying to make deals and it
seems like they're turning on me for it. Been called out a couple times even though every other team has been a willing partner. So I don't know what to do to. Lol.
Yeah, sorry. I've been accused of "raping" another team in my fantasy league. So I feel like I have to give this team a win I order for them to be accepting of it.
So, what would you rather, a deal of McCullers, CJ Adams, Lux, Pearson, Patino, Duran, and Adell for Burnes and Witt Jr. Or would you rather McCullers, Carlson, CJ Adams, Lux, Pearson, Patino, Duran, and Adell for Burnes, Witt Jr. and Brennan Davis?
Thanks. The other team is a very young team too. They won't compete in the next year or so, but they don't have much depth either. They really like Abrams for 2nd, and need a few starters. I think it's a fair trade.
I was thinking so. Thanks.
What if I replace McCullers instead of Bieber. So basically McCullers, Pearson, Patino, Abrams, Lux, and Adell, for Burnes and Witt Jr? Is it still a fair trade? I'm finding it difficult trying to trade with a friend without it seeming like collusion. Lol. Still not sure of the value of these players.
So my buddy is bidding to buy the team. He has Bogaerts and so he's comfortable with SS. But he has no decent 2nd baseman. His pitching is also s***.
We've been discussing a trade. He likes Abrams because he thinks he'll move to 2nd and be one of the best 2nd baseman. He was also looking to get Pearson and Patino. So I offered the following trade. Is it fair?
Bieber, Pearson, Patino, Abrams, Lux, and Barrero, for Burnes and Witt Jr.
Yeah, I actually like his upside especially since they've identified his injury. Just curious if he's lower on a depth chart, if we should trade him for a good asset.
Nearly all posts I see on projected starters don't involve Pearson. Pearson, Kirk+ would be a good start for a young pitcher or Ramirez. If Pearson can bounce back from the sports hernia, Cleveland should be able to turn him into an ace, with their track record.
Awesome! Thanks for the replies. I'm really enjoying this league and don't want to f*** anything up, but it would be cool to have another person that I know included.
I'd be worried about trades, and the perception of it, but I know I wouldn't ever do one that is very lop sided....and would actually be more careful than trading with any other team in the league .
Thanks.
I have a very stupid question, but like I said I'm new to Dynasty and trading. A team has opened up in my Dynasty league. I thought it would be fun to recruit a friend but I don't want to cross any lines when it comes to collusion. Is there an issue with getting a friend to buy the team, and would we need to disclose it?
I thought I read somewhere that MLB is considering using balls with some sticky stuff already on it, like the balls in Japan and South Korea? Any truth to that?
Nicely done!
I had both Manoah and Webb to start the year and dropped them before the season started. I tried to find a way to get them again but it didn't work out. Still bothers me a lot. I get obsessive of those kinds of things. Lol.
